For software installation, place the CD into the CD ROM. You will get this CD with the purchase of the product. 

Once you place the CD, it will autorun.

It will then automatically launch the Snooper menu.

After that, Snooper Support asks you to choose the desired language.

Now, if you are registered, then, click “Next”. 

If not registered, then, go to the official website and register your product using the serial number. You will get this serial number at the back of the product.

Further, select the device that you have purchased. You can choose from Ventura, Syrius or Truckmate options.

Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

Double-click the “Speed Camera Updater” icon displaying on your screen. 

Make sure that you do not switch on or connect your Snooper device with your PC.

Once the application opens, click “Menu” followed by clicking “Download Settings”. 

Note: For the first time, you will be asked to select the desired program language and download settings. These settings will be based on the type of vehicle you are using and the amount of camera coverage you are required. 

After that, connect your Snooper device to the PC using the USB cable provided in the purchase box.

On connecting the device, it will switch on automatically.  If it does not switch on, then on it manually by pressing the power button. 

Now, software updater will start the updation process. Also, it will download the selected database files onto your Snooper device.

For downloading, you will be asked to provide the serial number. You will get your serial number from the back of the product.

The process will get started.

Snooper then connect the Database server and download the speed camera database on your device.

Then, the data that Snooper receives will get saved.

Once the downloading process gets completed, then Snooper Support recommends you to disconnect the device from the PC. 

Close the downloading window, by clicking the “Close” button.

Take your Snooper GPS device.

Start your GPS device by clicking the Power button.

Then, touch the center of the display screen, and come to the main navigation menu.

From the list, select the “Find Post Code” option.

In the next window, enter the full UK postcode and click “OK”.

After that, enter the complete destination address.

Once you are done, then click the “Calculate” button.

Doing this, Snooper will calculate the fastest route from your current position to the address that you have entered.

Now, the journey summary screen will display. This will show your current location, distance to destination, estimated time, final destination, and arrival time.

Then, press the “Go” tab.

Your navigation will now get started.

Primarily, open a web browser.

Then, move to the Snooper Services page. For this, enter “snooperneo” in the address bar.

After that, enter the Serial Number in the required field and click “Check”.

Now, from the list of various options, select “Device Software Updates” option.

In the next screen, you will get the instructions for checking the currently installed software on your device. Follow them carefully and enter the software version in the same window.

After that, click “Check” tab.

Now, Snooper will show you the available updates on your device.

Click the download link of the Map Downloader.

Wait for the application to get downloaded.

Now, double-click the downloaded setup file. 

Note: Ensure that your device is not connected to your PC.

Thereafter, click the “Run” button in the popup box that appears.

In the Snooper Map Download Wizard, click “Next”.

Afterward, select the desired location for saving the installation. When you are done with the selection, tap “Next” button.

Further to confirm the installation, hit the “Next” tab.

Now, wait for the installation to complete.

Once the process gets finished, click “Close” button.

After downloading and installing Map Downloader, a new icon will get created on your desktop.

Double-click the icon to open the application. 

Then, choose the desired language by selecting the applicable flag for that language.

Now, switch on your GPS device and connect it to your PC. 

For connecting, use the USB cable that comes with the purchased product. 

Once your device got successfully connected, the Map Downloader Program will read your device’s serial number.

In the next screen, you will be shown the serial number of the connected device, click the “Continue” button in order to move further.

After this, disconnect your Snooper GPS device from the PC.

The download process will start. Once the download gets completed, click the “Run” button.

Now, again connect your GPS device with the PC.

Once the device has successfully connected, the updation process will get started. 

Wait for the process to get completed.

After the completion of the process, disconnect your device and close the program.

Now, maps update got successfully installed on your device.
